The stationary pallet changer features cushioned platforms on its sides, ensuring gentle pressure is applied to the loads, thereby facilitating their lifting and relocation.

Hence, there’s no risk of load damage caused by excessive pressure. The side platforms are generously padded to guarantee secure lifting and movement. Subsequently, the load is shifted to the side chamber, where a new pallet is already in place to receive it.

Description of the cycle
The operational concept behind a stationary pallet changer is quite straightforward. The machine is engineered to securely lift the loads from their original pallets and then transfer them to the new pallet positioned on the side.
The side platforms exert a gentle lateral pressure, just sufficient to grasp and elevate the loads from their original pallets. The entire load is subsequently shifted to the side, where a fresh pallet awaits to receive it.
Reduction in workforce
The operator’s role in this process is not labor-intensive. They are responsible for ensuring that the loaded pallets are placed onto the machine (typically using a forklift) and positioning new pallets to receive the loads.
As this stationary pallet changer employs a side-by-side movement technique, there’s no need for load inversion, which significantly accelerates the pallet changing process. Pressure adjustments can be made either manually or through the pressure-selector option.
