This solution is part of the pallet inverter family, and can handle loads up to 1.500 kg. This model is exceptional because it has a highly innovative and fast pallet replacement system. The pallet changing process begins by using a forklift to load the cargo onto the lower platform. Then, an operator starts the automated pallet exchange cycle by pressing buttons on a control panel.
Once the load is on the lower platform, the operator places the new pallet, which will hold the load. Using the control panel, the operator activates the upper platform to secure the products safely. The machine then rotates 120° to turn the load upside down. In this inverted position, the platform slightly lowers to separate the load from the original pallet. This separation allows the new pallet to slide into the spot where the old pallet was.
Now, the pallet has been replaced, and the new pallet is supporting the product while the old pallet is nearby. To finish the pallet exchange, the platform is closed, and the machine returns to its initial 0° position.
This stationary pallet inverter can handle certain loads like boxes in a flexible way. It allows pallet exchange without the need for a 120° rotation or inversion, making the process faster. Instead, it separates the pallets by sliding the new pallet into the old pallet’s position.
