Freezer spacer removal – Description of the operation

The operation of the freezer spacer removal system involves tilting the load at either 90° or 100°. Specifically, pallet replacement occurs with the assistance of the operator, who uses a pallet jack or forklift to transport the load onto the lower platform. Using a control panel, the operator initiates the process, whereby the upper platform halts the product to allow for the 90° or 100° tilt.

Once the load is tilted sideways, the operator widens the upper compactor to separate the product from the pallet or plastic freezer spacers, which can then be removed manually.

Subsequently, the operator inserts the new pallet or freezer spacers, closes the compactor, and returns the freezer spacer removal system to its initial position. The product is now on the new pallet and ready for retrieval.
