The automatic depalletizer system operates with loads that can be loaded using either a pallet truck or forklift. Let’s delve into the process of pallet changing:
First, the depalletizer securely holds the load and briefly tilts it at an angle ranging from 95° to 120°. The specific degree of tilt depends on the type of product, with each load requiring tailoring.
Subsequently, the load is separated from the pallet, enabling the depalletizer to replace the original pallet with the destination pallet.
Finally, Toppy’s depalletizer returns the load, now on the new pallet, to its initial position. At this point, the operator removes the load and introduces a new one into the machine.
Two robots autonomously transport the incoming pallet to the pallet dispenser. “Romeo & Juliette” utilizes two pallet dispensers—one for destination pallets and one for incoming pallets—each capable of holding up to 20 pallets.
