Automatic pallet handling equipment – Description of the cycle

The “V-Shape Minilogy” pallet handling equipment enables warehouses to change approximately 50 pallets per hour, all without the need for manual labor thanks to integration with a pallet dispenser and stacker. Let’s now explore the different phases of the pallet changing cycle using the V-Shape Minilogy:

  • The cycle initiates as the conveyor or roller places the loaded pallet on the bottom platform of the V-Shaped inverter.
  • The inverter then tilts the load by 120° while securing the pallet to the platform.
  • Only the bottom platform separates and returns to its initial level along with the pallet, which remains secured by the three sides of the inverter in the inverted position.
  • Subsequently, the original pallet is conveyed by the roller to the stacker.
  • On the opposite side of the machine lies the pallet dispenser, where machine stacks target or destination pallets.
  • The roller or conveyor selects the bottom-most destination pallet from the dispenser and positions it on the lower platform of the inverter.
  • The platform rolls back up to the load with the new pallet.
  • The entire pallet load returns to its original position while resting on the new pallet, ready to be moved using a forklift or handheld pallet jack.

This cycle takes just over a minute to complete, allowing for the efficient exchange of 50 pallets every hour.
